NEVER THE SAME

I am a warrior who cannot follow the way.

My mouth is mute because my heart cannot say.

Patches of green reached the mist of a hidden heart,

Whose memories long forgotten and lives part.

Can there be belief in the rising of the sun,

When I have not yet even learned how to run.

In this life, time has stood still

To capture a moment of destiny at will.

With you I've stood on the mountains peak

I've felt the wind on my face and heard my heart speak.

You've stilled the fire that coursed through my veins

And filled the void so that only love remained.

You entered though a long forgotten door.

I should never have let you remain.

For now, I will never be the same.
